Okay, first, I have to say, that our class had the cutest 2nd grader in the entire concert. I'm biased, but others have told me this too. All the boys congratulated Darius when he got off the stage and told him that he did a great job. It was all really cute. I have to admit, the first time I saw him, I cried. Darius has come a long way in the time that we've been together.

In other news, I know that all of you are anxiously awaiting our trip to Santa. I know, it's overwhelming with excitement kind of times. Well, we'll be meeting you at the mall entrance right by IHOP.

In case your students have come to you talking about a new friend, believe the rumors, it's true. After break, we will have a kindergarten friend joining our group for a large portion of the day. He's already been joining us for pieces to help with the transition and everyone has been quite welcoming and accepting of him.

Alright, hope you have a great day!

Pizza, Field Trip, and More!

We are having a compliment pizza party today at 2pm! The boys earned the most compliments and are having a pizza party thrown by Mrs. Cassarino! Way to go!

We have been practicing our Christmas Carols (Today we did: Jingle Bells and Must be Santa). We're getting ready for the season!

We learned how to play dreidel in Social Studies today. That was a huge hit for our friends who all got to play against Ms. Watts.

Don't forget: Next Thursday is our Field Trip to the mall to see Santa and eat IHOP. Parents are invited to attend with us. It should be a great time!

Tis the season

for sickness.

I had three friends yesterday come to school with the beginnings of colds (some farther along than others). They were sneezing and coughing over everything and everyone. PLEASE enforce covering coughs and sneezes at home. In addition, frequent hand washing after sneezes and coughs will help get rid of the germs quicker. Last week and today we've already had boys who are complaining that they don't feel well and only want to lay down to rest. It's only going to get worse as the weather does. Please help me out here as Robyn and I don't want to get sick either.

Thanks for your help on this issue.
