We started out only 6 strong since our friend David was home ill. We hope that he gets better quickly because our friends surely noticed many times that he wasn't here!
We danced, sang, talked about the calendar and had a fire drill all before 9:30 this morning!!!
Ms. Stern showed our friends one of her leap-pads and we read a spider man story and same of the games. Ms. Stern read "How do dinosaurs get well soon?" We talked about the importance of listening.
Most of our friends went to music class (Hendrick, Grant, Darius and Aldair) while Luis, Patrick and Ms. Stern played candyland.
We hung out, played in the classroom, read and colored until we were ready for lunch.
During recess, Ms. Stern learned all about Patrick's "sack the quarterback" and Ms. Stern wound up in the bottom of a massive pile up when everyone joined in. It was hysterical and no one could stop laughing!
During speech, we played "hide the scarecrow," learned a new scarecrow song, and heard a story about scarecrows.
After speech, we had some time with Blue's Clues and Ms. Stern had to take care of something and Mrs. Robertson was finishing up hanging up the months of the year on the wall for us. Once we were all back together, we danced the afternoon away! We freeze danced, did the chicken dance, YMCA, and then played twister! A great time!
Buses were here early and away everyone went!
