Scheduled outage at 11pm PDT

Good thing that I'm updating now!

Week two started off well.

We did puzzles (we are almost all masters of the realm of 25 pieces!)

We did out calendar routine (still no snow....ask your child if it is snowing outside, you'll get the best laugh out of them!)

By this time, it was time for our songs and then inclusion time. For our friends in Ms. Spencer's inclusion class, while today was an "off" day for enrichment rotation, they went to the math lab. What a fantastic time playing with shapes.

We followed all three rules in the lunch room today, have become masters of how to get our lunch trays to the table.

We played on the big playground, some of us were learning how to swing (up and down are the key words we are using for learning how to pump our legs) We don't allow climbing up the slides as it can be dangerous if no one is watching as they come down.

Once back in the classroom, we read, colored, and chose classroom jobs. The following jobs are for this week:

Patrick: Line Leader
David: Line Caboose
Grant: Chair Helper
Luis: Trash Picker-Upper
Hendrick: Library Cleaner
Aldair: Special Helper
Darius: Animal Checker

These roles will rotate and change as the year goes on. We talked about responsibilities, the fact that we all have to do our jobs so that our class can be great....

In regards to transportation, the bus has been consistently coming to the school at 9:15am. Ms. Burnett said that she'll be talking to the director of transportation about this and seeing what can be done to remedy this situation.

More to come, probably tomorrow night.(-:
