Happy Holidays!

We have another sing-a-long today. Then we're going to brunch.

I hope you all enjoyed the presents from the mentors for the boys. They were all really excited for everything, especially the pencils. Many exclaimed that it would be their new homework pencils. I was excited to hear that they were that excited for homework!

So, we've been talking about healthy food and junk food. Yesterday, when Wendy walked in with cupcakes for Patrick's birthday party he exclaimed "Mommy's here with the junk food!" So, I'm apologizing should this happen to anyone else over the holidays. I did stress with the boys that we can eat junk food and that it does taste good but we also have to eat our healthy food.

We got a lot of the things that we ordered with our budget. New bookcases that are quite sturdy. A new listening center on wheels, new stereo with headsets for everyone, new books on tape, and big book storage. All of our smaller things haven't come in yet, but we're waiting.

Oh wait, something did come in. We got our parachutes. Let's just say that for six feet of entertainment, this was amazing. Everyone wanted turns underneath it and we made wind. It was excellent times yesterday to play with this.

Remember, school reopens Wednesday January 2nd.
