Monday

I created these really cute fliers about our trip on Wednesday and they are sitting by my desk in the classroom.

So, please send your child with 6 dollars on Wednesday for IHOP.

The field trip is 10-2.

We had a great day at school. Ms. Lunsford came back and we worked on our addresses and phone numbers some more in speech.

Interims go home tomorrow.

In the news today:

Patrick discovered his love of slinkys. It was a deep passion, and it only took him about 30 seconds to tangle it up. Good thing his peer mentor Chris is a champion of untangling slinkys!

Grant read the entire "No David" series to us today. He was able to tell us what David was doing wrong in each page and what he should have done instead.

David and Darius had a great day sharing and taking turns. This is a huge success, especially because they were sharing greatly preferred activities.

Luis managed to finish out his day well after a rough start.

***NOTE: If you're looking for books (on the cheap) for the holidays, check out scholastic.com and search for warehouse sale. There is a warehouse sale in Manassas this weekend. 1st, they are still looking for volunteers and pay ten dollars an hour in free books (if you're interested, just email me and I can give you the people's information). 2nd, it's scholastic and the prices are even cheaper than the fliers that I send home to you about their club sales. So, if you've got time on Thursday through, I believe Saturday at least, it's worth it! Since I've moved here, the closest one has been in Maryland, so it's worth it if you're looking for anything or nothing in particular. (They have adult books too!!!)
